JOB DESCRIPTION -
- Should have knowledge of Welding, Heat treatment, hydraulic press and painting process of Engineering goods.
-Knowledge of Casting and CNC Machined components
- Reviewing recommendations for special machinery and working with engineering teams to improve products and processes
- Participating in plant expansion, equipment planning and conversion
- Overseeing the maintenance of equipment, building, plant security and protection
- Controlling costs to achieve budgetary goals for the company
- Prepare, analyze, and issue production, financial, and performance reports
- Expert in modern manufacturing management methods
- Staying up to date with the latest production trends, technology and best practices
- Participating in various manufacturing-related activities, such as quality, productivity, safety, innovation, supply management and on-time shipping
- Ensuring smooth day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant
- Over all responsibility of department activities and plant operations.
- Ensure compliance in all federal, state, and local safety and environmental regulations
- Setting performance goals and expectations
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve productivity and profit objectives
- Determining important key performance indicators and measuring them regularly
- Champion continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor

Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of the CNC machine shop specializing in Ni-hard metal components.
Plan, schedule, and monitor production activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
Lead and mentor a team of machinists, supervisors, and technicians, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency.
Implement process improvements to optimize productivity, reduce downtime, and enhance cost-effectiveness.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to resolve technical challenges.
Manage resource allocation, inventory control, and preventive maintenance schedules.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives in machining processes and workforce development.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
15+ years of experience in machine shop operations, with a strong background in CNC machining.
Hands-on expertise in machining Ni-hard metal and other hard alloys.
Proven track record of managing large teams and complex operations.
Strong knowledge of machining processes, tooling, and quality control systems.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes
Experience in lean manufacturing and Six Sigma practices.
Ability to handle high-pressure production environments.
Strong analytical mindset with focus on operational efficiency.
Role & responsibilities
- Manage and oversee all production activities in the foundry to ensure smooth operations.
- Create production schedules and optimize time and cost efficiency.
- Supervise the maintenance of machinery and factory equipment to ensure operational reliability.
- Monitor and ensure the quality of final products meets required standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate the production team to achieve performance goals.
- Manage budgets and resource allocation effectively.

- Knowledge of Molding process, melting process, shell molding & process methoding.
Skill
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience of 10 to 15 years in the foundry industry.
- Strong knowledge of Alloys steels & Alloy Castings manufacturing.
- Simulation knowledge of (CATIA/AUTOCAD/SOLIDWORKS)
- Design and development of patterns
- MS Excel, MS Office & ERP
- Excellent managerial, communication, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Comprehensive understanding of industrial safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain patterns for shell castings, aluminum patterns for machine
molding items, and green sand castings.
- Create and modify 3D models for pattern making using CAD/CAM software.
- Apply CNC programming knowledge for machining of patterns with high precision.
- Collaborate with design, tooling, and production teams to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve pattern-related issues during manufacturing and casting processes.
- Ensure accuracy, durability, and cost-effectiveness of patterns.
- Maintain documentation and revision history of patterns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in shell casting patterns, aluminum patterns, machine molding, and green sand items.
- Expert-level 3D modeling skills (CAD/CAM) with programming knowledge for CNC machining.
- Strong understanding of foundry processes, tooling, and machining techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
